Speaker Series Update Nov 23, 22

The Rotary Club Naples started the New Year with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Speakers Serial. This amazing Speakers Serial was started under the guidance of Past President Wayne Dahlstrom and President Joel Miller is keeping up the tradition. Sherriff Kevin J. Rambosk spoke on the topic  “The State of Collier County”! He was able to hold the attention of the entire Rotarians and Guests in the room which numbered 28 on January 9, 204.

Secretary Linda Cupit read a brief history of Sheriff Rambosk  which included: Graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class 1972, Collier County Sheriff since 2009, and became a Paul Harris Honoree in 2023, awarded by the Rotary Club Naples Bay.  Please visit – naplesbayrotary.org – for the longer list of the accomplishments.

Sheriff Rambosk’s presentation covered every aspect of Collier County from protection of the Citizens, ways to control street traffic, putting the bad guys behind bars, reducing crime and drug usage in Collier County, and explained how the Sheriff’s Office is active in the schools with education and safety, while helping to find created ways in the community to battle the issue of homelessness. Sheriff Kevin Rambosk took the time to answer every single question asked of him by the Rotarians and guests. What a great way to kick of 2004 and the RCNB Speaker’s Serial.
