2022 Volleyball Fundraiser – Update

On Saturday, February 12^th the Rotary Club of Naples Bay, held their 2^nd Annual Chair Volleyball Tournament at the Lorenzo Walker Technical College campus. The Golden Gate High School Volleyball team and Lorenzo Walker Technical College team joined teams from the Rotary Club of Naples Bay along with other players from other organizations raised money for scholarships for both schools.

Lorenzo Walker’s Culinary School prepared the food and refreshments for the event. Raffle winners were announced, and trophies were awarded to the first, second, and third place winners. This family-friendly event had players of all ages. All the funds raised were for scholarships at Golden Gate High School and Lorenzo Walker Technical College. A great time was had by all the participants.

2022 Caribbean Culinary Caper Fundraiser – Update

On March 26^th, 2022, the Rotary Club of Naples Bay held its first annual Caribbean Culinary Caper dinner At Greenlinks Villas in Lely Resort. The event was chaired by Sandra Simmons and with the assistance of Rotary Club of Naples Bay club members the event was a great success. The Rotary Club raised over $10,000 for scholarships for Lorenzo Walker Technical College and Golden Gate High School. Music provided by JR Houghtaling and his Caribbean steel drum along with our Master of Ceremonies, and master auctioneer Randall Kenneth Jones, made the event very special. Prizes, raffles and a silent auction along with the Two Guys Caterers’ delicious menu was an event worth attending.
